A small beginning and a story that keeps growing
More than 20 years ago, two Dutch women, Rosalie and Ingrid, met in Thailand while volunteering. They shared a wish to create something lasting for children growing up in rural Thailand. They didn’t have a big plan for what the future would look like. They simply wanted to find a way to help.
That idea became the beginning of Eco-Logic Thailand and the Thai Child Development Foundation (TCDF).
What started with one house, three rooms and a very old jeep has grown into something much bigger. The location was once a palm oil plantation, with hardly any infrastructure. Today, it is home to Eco-Logic Thailand and the TCDF Circular Campus, where tourism, education, farming, nature and community life come together.
Since 2004, Eco-Logic Thailand and TCDF have developed side by side. And the journey is far from over. We are still learning, trying new things and looking for ways to improve.
For us, growing together means creating opportunities while staying connected to the people and purpose behind everything we do.
Eco-Logic Thailand is more than a place to stay
Eco-Logic Thailand is a small eco-resort in Paksong, southern Thailand, surrounded by tropical nature, gardens and green hills.
Guests come for different reasons. Some are looking for a relaxing holiday, others want to explore rural Thailand, spend time with their families, join a yoga retreat or simply enjoy a few days away from their usual routine. You can stay in one of our bungalows or rooms, enjoy a meal at our Farm to Fork restaurant, explore the campus or spend a quiet afternoon by the swimming pool.

But Eco-Logic Thailand is also part of a bigger story. Our close connection with the Thai Child Development Foundation is at the heart of what makes this place different. TCDF supports children and young people in rural Thailand through education, medical care and opportunities to develop their skills.
Tourism helps connect visitors with this purpose while creating income and opportunities that contribute to the wider campus.
You don’t have to arrive with a special interest in charity or sustainability. You can simply come to enjoy your holiday. But while you are here, your stay is also connected to something beyond your own experience.
How your stay supports the circle
At Eco-Logic Thailand, the connection between tourism and TCDF is part of everyday life.
Our Farm to Fork restaurant buys fresh produce from the TCDF farm. We also purchase products made through TCDF vocational training, including shampoo, soap and other handmade items. These connections help link farming, food and practical learning.
Part of the income from accommodation supports the Circular Campus and its learning stations, where children and young people can discover nature, farming and everyday skills.
Income from wellness services, including yoga and massage, helps support TCDF healthcare projects. Our taxi service also contributes to the support for the TCDF school bus.
Activities create opportunities for local people to share their knowledge and skills with visitors, from activities in our Food Forest and gardens and transport to food and local experiences.
These connections may seem small on their own, but together they help bring different parts of the campus closer.
You enjoy your stay. Your stay supports the circle. The circle creates opportunities for others.
That is the idea behind Eco-Logic Thailand and the TCDF Circular Campus: tourism can offer a great experience for guests while contributing to opportunities for children, young people and the wider community.
Always growing, always learning
Eco-Logic Thailand has changed considerably since its early days. Over the years, we have developed the gardens, added facilities and looked for new ways to make better use of the land.
In 2021, we began developing our food forest on the mountain. The land had previously been used for palm oil, and we wanted to create a more diverse growing space. We introduced different trees and plants, including banana, coconut, coffee, pineapple, guava, papaya and other useful tropical species.
A food forest takes time, patience and care. It has become a place to grow food, spend time in nature and learn more about the relationship between plants, land and people.

In 2025, we expanded our wellness facilities with a swimming pool, herbal steam room and sauna. We wanted to give guests more ways to relax and enjoy their surroundings. Sometimes a holiday is about exploring and trying new things. At other times, it is simply about slowing down and having room to breathe.

In 2026, art and recycling became another part of our story through the development of our art spaces and the Art Eco project. Creativity offers new ways to learn, express ideas and connect with others. These developments share the same spirit: keep learning, keep growing and keep finding new ways to connect people, nature and opportunity.
Responsible tourism: doing our best, one step at a time
Sustainable travel in Thailand means different things to different people. At Eco-Logic Thailand, we believe it starts with everyday choices and a willingness to keep improving. We look for ways to reduce waste, recycle materials, conserve water and use resources more thoughtfully. Solar energy is part of what we do, while our gardens and food forest allow us to explore different approaches to growing food.
We also value the relationships we build with local people and the opportunities tourism can create for the surrounding community.
We don’t claim to have everything figured out. Sustainability is an ongoing process, and there is always more to learn. Some improvements take time, but we believe that small, consistent steps matter.
For us, responsible tourism is not about being perfect. It is about paying attention to how we use resources, how we welcome guests and how we connect our resort with the community around us.
Guests and visitors can discover these ideas simply by exploring the campus, visiting the farm and the gardens, enjoying fresh food or learning about the food forest. You don’t need to be an expert to appreciate the connections between nature, organic farming and tourism.

The people make the place
Buildings and facilities are only one part of Eco-Logic. The people who have helped shape the resort and campus over the years are just as important.
Some members of our team have been here for many years. They have watched the place grow, contributed to its development and built lasting relationships with colleagues, guests and the wider community.
Their experience, knowledge and loyalty help make Eco-Logic Thailand feel like a community rather than simply a resort.
Our guests are part of the story too. Some visit once and continue their travels. Others return, recommend us to friends or become interested in supporting TCDF more directly
We welcome families, solo travellers, groups, nature lovers and people who come to share their knowledge or discover something new.
Every visitor brings a different story. A conversation over dinner, a walk through the gardens or a meeting with someone involved in the campus can offer a new perspective on rural Thailand.
We hope guests leave with happy memories, new experiences and a better understanding of the people and purpose behind Eco-Logic Thailand.
Discover a different side of Thailand
Paksong offers an opportunity to experience a greener, more rural side of southern Thailand.
At Eco-Logic Thailand, you can explore the Circular Campus, discover the gardens and food forest, enjoy meals made with fresh ingredients or arrange activities in the surrounding area. You can also spend time relaxing by the pool, enjoy a massage or join a yoga session.
Families can share outdoor experiences and introduce their children to new things. Solo travellers can meet other guests while exploring at their own pace. Wellness travellers can enjoy a slower rhythm, while retreat leaders can bring their own programmes to our natural setting.
We welcome people with different interests and travel styles. You don’t need a special reason to visit. Sometimes, a few days in nature, good food and a friendly atmosphere are more than enough.
And because Eco-Logic Thailand is connected to TCDF, your visit also offers an opportunity to discover how tourism can contribute to education, healthcare and community development.
More than 20 years later, we are still looking ahead
What began with one house and three rooms has grown into a resort connected to a much wider community campus. The food forest has developed, new facilities have opened and art has become another part of the story.
Meanwhile, TCDF continues to support children and young people in rural Thailand through educational opportunities, medical care and practical support.
We are proud of how far Eco-Logic Thailand and TCDF have come, but we know there is still more to learn and do.
Our aim is to keep developing in ways that make sense for the people, nature and purpose behind this place. That means staying open to new ideas, learning from experience and looking for opportunities to improve.
None of this would be possible without our team, local people, visitors and supporters. Eco-Logic Thailand has grown through the contributions of many people, and that shared spirit continues to shape our future.
Be part of the Eco-Logic Thailand story
You don’t have to do anything extraordinary to become part of our story. You can book a room, enjoy a meal, explore the campus or spend a few days relaxing in nature. You can join an activity, discover the food forest or meet the people who help make Eco-Logic Thailand what it is today.
If you would like to support the Thai Child Development Foundation more directly, you can also make a donation to help TCDF continue its education and healthcare projects for children and young people in rural Thailand.
Every visitor has their own reason for coming, and we want you to enjoy your stay in your own way.
For us, the important thing is that tourism can be about more than a holiday. It can create opportunities, support local livelihoods and connect people who might never otherwise have met.
That is what Eco-Logic and TCDF have been building together for more than 20 years.
Come and discover Eco-Logic Thailand. Enjoy nature, meet our people and experience a stay that is part of a bigger story.
We look forward to welcoming you.
