Eco-Logic Thailand is a riverside family stay in Southern Thailand, tucked away in the village of Paksong, Phato, Chumphon Province, about 45 km from Ranong. The eco-lodge is surrounded by jungle, mountains, rivers, rural Thai landscapes and plenty of space to relax and enjoy being together. It offers a very different kind of stay — one built around nature, local culture, learning, and meaningful community connection.

Eco-Logic Thailand has been developing its approach to sustainable tourism since 2004, creating a place where travelers can slow down, explore rural Thailand, and become part of the life around them rather than simply passing through.

The experience is closely connected to the Thai Child Development Foundation (TCDF), whose visitor centre, school for children with special needs, and Circular Campus are located on the same premises. Here, farming, education, hospitality, and community involvement come together, giving guests the opportunity not only to stay in nature, but also to see how a more self-sufficient and community-focused model can work in practice.

What the Stay Feels Like

The two-storey Family Room is designed as one shared family space, with a queen-size bed, single bed and bunk bed, plus a spacious open upstairs lounge where everyone can unwind, read, study, or simply enjoy the views and sounds of nature around them.

The experience at Eco-Logic Thailand is simple, hands-on, social, and deeply connected to its surroundings. Accommodation is set close to the river, with views towards the rainforest and plenty of natural materials throughout. Depending on how you like to travel, you can choose from riverside bungalows, guestrooms, family accommodation, a dormitory, campsite, or an adobe clay house.

This is a place for travelers who enjoy doing as much as seeing. Mornings can begin with yoga overlooking the river, followed by a farm-to-fork meal, a Thai cooking class, a hike, a food forest tour, or simply some quiet time by the water.

There is also plenty of space to slow down. You can enjoy a Thai massage, herbal steam sauna, river swim, library, or a relaxed meal at The Food Forest Kitchen. The restaurant follows a zero-food-waste policy and uses produce from the farm, while its screen-free table is designed to encourage guests to put their phones away and connect with the people and place around them.

The feeling is less about a polished resort experience and more about being welcomed into a living rural community — learning something new, meeting people, eating food grown nearby, and discovering a quieter side of Thailand.

Community & Local Connection

Community connection is at the heart of Eco-Logic Thailand. The property operates alongside the Thai Child Development Foundation (TCDF), supporting projects that focus on children with special needs, education, community development, and self-sufficiency. With your stay, you support the Foundation’s projects, while the shared campus brings together farming, learning, hospitality, and community involvement.

The TCDF–Eco-Logic Circular Campus includes an organic vegetable farm, mushroom farm, fish farm, poultry, organic gardens, and a food forest. These spaces are not simply part of the landscape — they are also used for learning about self-sufficiency and environmental awareness.

For travelers who want to become more involved, Eco-Logic offers hands-on work experiences, organic gardening programs, internships, and volunteer opportunities, including programs connected with yoga, permaculture, gardening, photography, and other practical skills.
